Many Critically Endangered Species may go extinct by the time these cards expire.

 

To shine a light on the importance of conservation, we gave a new meaning to the expiration date on these animal-themed cards. The Mastercard Wildlife Impact Cards, created in partnership with Conservation International, feature endangered species and give people a chance to make an impact for themselves. For each virtual prepaid card purchased, a one-dollar donation is made to Conservation International. 

After the campaign was launched, DSK Bank partnered with Mastercard and turned the digital card into a real debit card.
